NEGOTIATING THE SINUS CAVITY: Crestal & Lateral Approach for Sinus Augmentation Surgery
Date: January 26, 2019
Time: 9 AM - 5 PM
Where: Shikosha Dental Lab
This course is sponsored by Hiossen and Shikosha Dental Lab; tuition is complimentary, and lunch will be provided.
Successful clinical implant dentistry requires a broad understanding and skill set to manage areas of deficient bone. One of the common challenges
is addressing the upper maxillary posterior when the sinus has pneumatized. Augmentation, or “lifting”, of the sinus floor allows an opportunity
to create more bone volume by utilizing some of the open space in the sinus cavity. Using bone grafting techniques, the maxillary ridge can
be expanded to provide stability for dental implants.
This course is intended for dentists who already place dental implants and are ready to take on more challenging cases. Lecture and participation
credits will be awarded upon completion.
